<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system which can attain a redundant power configuration for backup, seamless power switching and a longer life as a whole system while suppressing cost, a mounting region and power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply system having at least one auxiliary power supply in advance for supplying power as an active power source from at least one power source of a plurality of power sources is configured to comprise: a voltage monitoring means 4, 8 for monitoring power supplies 3, 6; an auxiliary power supply starting means 12 for performing the starting operation of the auxiliary power supply 6 in a stop state when the voltage of the active power source is lowered than a first threshold value; and a power supply switching means 12 for performing power supply switching operation using the auxiliary power supply 6 as a new active power source on the condition that at least the start of the auxiliary power supply 6 is completed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
