<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer using an organic EL element (electroluminescent element) as a light source of a light emission unit part, wherein dispersion of a line or an expanse of a width of one line in a main scanning direction is eliminated by especially performing control such that an exposure spot from the EL element becomes uniform. <P>SOLUTION: A large number of the organic EL elements are disposed as 16 organic EL element groups, output of power source voltage (Vsource) and a selection signal (Vselect) is controlled in each the EL element group, supply of the power source voltage (Vsource) is stopped in set timing so as to adjust light emission of the organic EL element group selected by the selection signal (Vselect) to previous measured optimum light intensity in a non-selection period, and the dispersion of the light intensity between the organic EL elements disposed in each head unit is eliminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
