<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage water heater capable of improving safety in use by notifying an user of inflow of high-temperature hot water into a bathtub in a hot water supplying operation. <P>SOLUTION: This storage water heater comprises a hot water storage tank 2, the bathtub 4 and a bath heat exchanger 3 performing reheating by heating the hot water in the bathtub 4 by hot water of high temperature in the hot water storage tank 2. An additional hot water supplying operation for supplying the hot water from a hot water supply portion to the bathtub, and a reheating operation for heating the hot water in the bathtub 4 by the bath heat exchanger 3 are combined, and the hot water supplying operation is performed to reach the target amount of hot water and target hot water temperature in the bathtub 4.
