PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly convenient portable terminal device by disposing an antenna in an operating section side casing including an operating section and making appropriate relationship among a position at which the antenna is disposed, a direction of turning a front/rear switchable display section side casing and a screen direction of a display section. SOLUTION: A mobile phone 1 of the present invention is equipped with: the operating section side casing 2; the display section side casing 3; a linking section 4 for linking the operating section side casing 2 and the display section side casing 3 in an openable/closable and front/rear switchable manner; the antenna 22; and a display section 30 for displaying an image based on a signal received by the antenna 22. The antenna 22 is disposed on a side surface of the operating section side casing 2 corresponding to a front/rear switchable turning direction of the display section side casing 3 and a display direction of the image on the display section 30 is made correspond to the position at which the antenna 22 is disposed.
