PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently search for a video image photographed by a plurality of cameras. SOLUTION: A video image storage section 53 stores a video image photographed by the plurality of cameras. A search option setting section 58 sets search conditions for searching for an image compositing the video image stored in the video image storage section 53, according to the operation of a user. A search condition input section 54 inputs the search conditions for searching an image containing an object designated by the user. A meta data generating section 55 generates meta data indicating attributes characterizing an object contained in the image for compositing the video image stored in the video image storage section 53. A search processing section 56 searches for the image for compositing the video image stored in the video image storage section 53, based on the search conditions set by the search option setting section 58, search conditions inputted by the search condition input section 54, and the meta data generated by the meta data generating section 55.
