PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic actuator capable of checking entering of foreign matter in a sliding clearance of a shaft, by preventing a change in a spring load of a spring for a moving piece, by preventing press-in dislocation of an adjuster. SOLUTION: The spring load of the spring 43 for the moving piece is adjusted by a press-in quantity of the adjuster 49 pressed in a yoke 45. A large diameter part 48b is arranged in a front part of the shaft 48, and when the shaft 48 moves backward, a rear surface of the large diameter part 48b abuts on a front face of a stator core 44, and regulates a moving range in the valve opening direction of the shaft 48, and blocks up a shaft sliding hole 44a. Since collision force is not applied to the adjuster 49, the press-in dislocation of the adjuster 49 is prevented over a long period, and a change in the spring load of the spring 43 for the moving piece is prevented. The entering of the foreign matter in the sliding clearance is also checked by the large diameter part 48b, and sliding failure of the shaft 48 can be prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
