PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape processor preventing scatter of a tape piece forcibly discharged from a tape discharge port, and certainly collecting it. SOLUTION: This tape processor 1 has: the tape discharge port 42 formed in a device case 4; a tape cutting means facing the tape discharge port 42 close thereto from inside the device case 4, and cutting an already processed portion of a print tape T in a state that the portion is sent into the tape discharge port 42; a tape discharge means forcibly discharging the tape piece A that is the already processed portion cut by the tape cutting means from the tape discharge port 42; and a scatter prevention case 3 detachably provided to the outer face of the device case 4 such that the scatter prevention case 3 faces the tape discharge port 42 from the outside, receiving the tape piece A forcibly discharged from the tape discharge port 42 by the tape discharge means.
