<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device displaying a trimming image and a whole range image by switching over them, according to user's request. <P>SOLUTION: An image display device 220 comprises: storage sections 102 and 104 for storing an input image which is inputted from each external device 223 and area indicating information (trimming information) for indicating a partial area in the inputted image; an image creation section 109 for creating a first image (a trimming image) corresponding to the partial area in the inputted image, based on the area indicating information; a display section 202 for displaying the image; and a control means 103 for switching over the first image and an image for displaying on the display section in a second image (the whole area image) corresponding to the inputted image in response to the signal from an operation section 216, 219. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
