<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking aid configured to enclose a seat with a side frame and grip frames with grips arranged therein, and also configured to easily fold the configuration elements by releasing minimum support and engagement. <P>SOLUTION: The walking aid includes: a back board 2 arranged in the upper part of a supporter 1; a tire holding frame 7 arranged in the lower part of the supporter 1 and rotatably holding a unicycle 6; the seat 9 which is vertically slidable and arranged at a position, whose centroid is substantially coincident with the axial center of the unicycle 6 in the supporter 1; a planarly U shape foot frame 5 to which one end of the tire holding frame 7 is fixed and where casters 10 are attached in the front and rear parts; the U shape side frame 11 which is rotatably supported at one ends of the foot frame 5 and where the other side ends are locked/unlocked to/from a lock piece which is arranged in the upper part of the supporter 1; and grip support frames 14 having grips 17, whose middle parts are rotatably supported by the side frame 11 and lower ends are removably fixed to the foot frame, and the grip frames 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
