<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic package structured almost in a box shape or a board shape as a whole, whose package main body has a plurality of pads on its bottom surface and is difficult to break and deform because of cracks and the like, even if it receives pressure along the thickness direction. <P>SOLUTION: A ceramic package 1 comprises a package main body 2 consisting of ceramics such as alumina and having an almost rectangular bottom surface 4 from a planar view, and a plurality of pads p formed at the four corners of the bottom surface 4.
