<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer by which a femoral component can be retained and released in a short period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The retainer 1 for retaining a curved femoral component 90 for artificial knee joint with an outer surface 98 with right condylus and left condylus and an inner surface 96 facing the outer surface 98 includes: a pair of arms 10 with a hook 16 on each tip end to clip the femoral component 90; a table 20 positioned between the pair of arms 10; and a lever 30 to move cooperating with the arms 10 and the table 20. The femoral component 90 is clipped from right and left sides by the pair of arms 10, the outer surface of the femoral component 90 is pressed by the table 20, and the pair of hooks 16 are engaged with right and left edges 92, 94 on the inner surface of the femoral component 90 during the lever 30 is moved from the starting position to the ending position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
