<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a carbonaceous-material-including metal oxide briquette where, when a metal oxide raw material, a carbonaceous material, and further, a binder are added, so as to be a powdery mixture, the obtained mixture is subjected to pressure molding, so as to produce a carbonaceous-material-including metal oxide briquette, and the obtained briquette is subjected to heating reduction by a rotary hearth furnace, so as to produce reduced iron, the briquette is homogenized, thus the stable strength of the briquette can be secured. <P>SOLUTION: The process for producing the carbonaceous-material-including metal oxide briquette, characterized by passing through the mixing step of adding a binder to a metal oxide raw material A and a carbonaceous material B and mixing them together by a mixer 3 into a powdery mixture D and the molding step of carrying out pressure molding of the powdery mixture D into a carbonaceous-material-including metal oxide briquette F by the use of a briquetting machine 8, wherein in the mixing step, a batchwise mixer is used as the mixer 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
