PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower a temperature of a cooled space in a short time in a refrigerating cycle device comprising a variable capacity type compressor and a pressure control valve. SOLUTION: A flow rate sensor detecting a flow rate Gr of discharged refrigerant is disposed in this refrigerating cycle device comprising the variable capacity type compressor and the pressure control valve, and control electric current Ic output to an electromagnetic capacity control valve of the variable capacity type compressor is switched from a first control electric current Ic1 calculated on the basis of a control target value to make a pressure of the discharged refrigerant not over a reference maximum high pressure, to a second control electric current Ic2 calculated on the basis of a control target value to exert the desired cooling capacity, when the flow rate Gr of the discharged refrigerant reaches the reference discharged refrigerant flow rate Gr1 corresponding to the leakage amount Grmin leaking from a bleed port of the pressure control valve or more. As the desired cooling capacity can be exerted simultaneously with a timing when the pressure control valve can control the high pressure-side refrigerant pressure, a temperature in a vehicle compartment can be lowered in a short time.
