PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent a backlash of the outer shaft and the inner shaft, secure a detent, improve the assemblage and downsize the device in a rod-like device. SOLUTION: The rod-like device 100 is formed by inserting the inner shaft 20 in a hollow part of the outer shaft 10 and axially extendably connecting them, a V-shaped rib 11 extended in the axial direction in the inner face of the outer shaft 10 and a V-shaped groove 21 extended in the axial direction of the inner shaft 20 are slidably engaged each other, the outer shaft 10 has an anti-vibration member 30 sandwiching the V-shaped rib 11 and the center shaft of the same and protruding inward from the opposite side hollow portion wall face, and a V-shaped convex portion 32 is slidably engaged while pushing and pressing the V-shaped convex portion 32 of the anti-vibration member 30 to a V-shaped concave portion 22 extended in the axial direction of the inner shaft 20 by the elastic force of an elastic member 40.
