A pants type wearing article that, even if a waist region of the article worn by a wearer slips down, does not allow bodily fluid to leak from around a leg of the wearer. In the disposable bodily fluid absorptive article (1) of pants type, a bodily fluid absorption panel (3) located in a crotch region extends in the front-rear direction (A) and is fixed to seat members (11) forming the respective inner surfaces of front and rear waist regions. The bodily fluid absorption panel (3) has flap sections (24) formed on its lateral opposite sides and having free edge sections (40b), and crotch-section elastic members (43) are attached to the free edge sections (40b) in a stretched state. Lower elastic members (15b) are attached in a stretched state to leg opening edge sections of the front and rear waist regions. The flap sections (24) have portions fixed to the respective inner surfaces of the front and rear waist regions, where the portions are places at which the free edge sections (40b) overlap the lower elastic members (15b) with the flap sections (24) stretched to the lateral direction (B). |
