It is an object to provide a forgery prevention printed matter that forms an invisible image, which can be visualized clearly so that, when the invisible image is visualized, the visibility of the visualized invisible image is not obstructed by a visible image. The forgery prevention printed matter is characterized in that an image element, which is provided with first and second image lines arranged opposite along a first direction at the center as the border, and third and fourth image lines arranged opposite along a second direction orthogonal to the first direction at the center as the border, is arranged at a fixed pitch in the form of a plurality of matrices; the first and second image lines or the third and fourth images in each image element have negative and positive image line relationships, respectively; and a first invisible image is formed by the first image line and/or the second image line while a second invisible image is formed by the third image line and/or the fourth image line.
