<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device capable of suppressing contrast reduction due to mixing of diffracted lights, and to provide an electronic device. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal device has a pixel 4L that emits light which constitutes a first image and a pixel 4R emitting light which constitutes a second image. An optical element 54, having an aperture part 54A, is disposed on a viewer side of a light-emitting part 7 of a pixel 4. The aperture part 54A makes the light from the pixel 4L pass through a first display angle range and light from the pixel 4R pass through a second display angle range that includes a range different from that of the first display angle range. A retardation layer 52, formed in at least a part of a region along an edge of the aperture part 54A of the optical element 54 in plan view, is disposed on the optical element 54 side of the pixel 4. A polarizing plate 47 is disposed on the side opposite to the pixel 4 of the retardation layer 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
