PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to rapidly search VOD (video on demand) content capable of being stored in a time designated by the user without requiring excessive burden on the user. SOLUTION: When the user operates a remote controller to input a designated time and selects a corresponding content list display button, a control section reads the information about residual time of one or more pieces of content stored in a content information management section, and compares the residual time information with the designated time information input (step S51). If the results of comparison show that the designated time information is equal to or longer than the residual time information (Yes in step S51), the control section stores the content information of the content as target of comparison (corresponding content information) into the content information management section, and rearranges the content information in the corresponding content list while giving higher priority to contents having a long residual time (step S52).
