PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance work efficiency in maintenance such as cleaning of a sample introducing part 5 in an element analyzer 1. SOLUTION: In this element analyzer 1, a crucible 2 is sandwiched by an upper electrode 3 and a lower electrode 4, a sample is introduced from the sample introducing part 5 provided in an upper side of the upper electrode 3 into the crucible 2, the crucible 2 is heated to dissolve the sample, by impressing a voltage to the upper electrode 3 and the lower electrode 4, and an element of the sample is analyzed based on a gas generated therein. The sample introducing part 5 is provided therein with a block body 51 having an introduction passage 51A for introducing the sample into the crucible 2, a driving mechanism 52 fixed onto the block body 51, and having a needle 521 moving with respect to the introduction passage 51A, and an opening and closing structure 53 provided removably in the block body 51 independently of the driving mechanism 52, and for holding the sample or introducing the sample into the crucible, while interlocked with the moving of the needle 521.
