PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker with improved usability capable of preventing operational errors and performing operation to meet a user's intention. SOLUTION: The cooker comprises a heating means, a control part controlling the heating means for enabling execution of automatic cooking, a temperature measuring means for measuring temperature of an object to be heated, and an operation part for performing input operation to give a command of the automatic cooking to the control part. With regard to the input operation for the automatic cooking at the operation part, normal input operation and forcible input operation different from the normal input operation are defined. When the input operation for the automatic cooking is carried out by the operation part, the control part determines whether it accepts input by the normal input operation or not based on the measured temperature by the temperature measuring means. If the control part determines to accept the input by the normal input operation, it accepts the input by the normal input operation.
