PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushion body for automobile seats which allows a seating person to compatibly feel a soft touch and air permeability in a seat part and a backrest part in an automobile seat. SOLUTION: This cushion body for the automobile seat is formed of a body part 11 having a foam body and upper layer parts 12a having foam body of another body from the body part 11 and layered on the body part 11. Grooves 13 and 14 for hog rings are formed at least one of between the body part 11 and the upper layer parts 12a and between the upper layers 12a. Clearances 21 are formed between the upper face of the body part 11 and the lower faces of the upper layers 12a and the clearances 21 communicate with the groove 13 for the hog ring. The clearances 21 are formed between a plurality of projections 20 by forming the plurality of projections 20 at least one of the upper face of the body part 11 and the lower face of the upper layer.
