PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently catch a residue from circulating washing water to facilitate removal of the caught residue from a residue filter. SOLUTION: A dishwasher includes a pump 7 for pressurizing and circulating washing water, washing means 8 having a spray port 9 for spraying the washing water, and the residue filter 10 for catching the residue falling from an object to be washed, e.g., dishes.
