PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device of a digital display device for rendering a boundary line produced by luminance correction less visible. SOLUTION: The driving device of a digital display device includes driving units 2, 3 driving a display unit 1 in accordance with a digital video signal VS while synchronizing with a digital display control signal CS including a synchronizing signal. The driving device is equipped with a luminance correcting means 10 that decreases or increases the luminance stepwise in a minimum luminance adjustment unit which is determined by a grayscale number in an opposite direction to the direction of increase or decrease of the luminance according to the proportion of changes in the changing direction of the luminance, in a luminance changing region specific to each display part in the display unit 1, and that corrects the grayscale of the digital video signal in such a manner that each boundary line of the luminance which changes stepwise is formed into alternately repeated concaves and convexes into the higher side and the lower side of the luminance along a center line which is defined as a line orthogonal to the changing direction of the luminance in the luminance changing region.
