<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer a high-quality image having no disarray of dots onto a recording medium in a system for forming an image by performing the transfer while reacting ink with a processing agent on the intermediate transfer body to thereby aggregate the ink, by effectively suppressing the disarray of dots of the ink aggregate on the intermediate transfer body. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition for forming an image by heating a dot image of the ink aggregate aggregated by being reacted with the processing agent on the intermediate transfer body 12 to a transfer temperature, and transferring the dot image onto the recording medium 34 comprises at least water, a hydrophilic organic solvent, a color material, and a polymer fine particle, and the polymer fine particle has a dynamic storage elasticity G'1 at 80°C and a dynamic storage elasticity G'2 at 150°C which satisfy Log G'1/G'2≤2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
