<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method or the like by which the improvement of induction magnitude in the expression of a target exogenous gene induced in a plant is achieved in a system induced by a copper ion. <P>SOLUTION: The expression method of a target exogenous gene in a plant induced by a chemical substance, comprises a step of activating with copper ions a transcription factor encoded by an exogenous gene different from the target exogenous gene to induce activation of transcription of the target exogenous gene by a region having a promoter function contained in the target exogenous gene, wherein the transcription factor is contained in a gene construct which is constructed so as to comprise a 5'-untranslated region of an arbitrary exogenous gene downstream from the region having a promoter function contained in the target exogenous gene. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
