PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an electromagnetic wave shielding film for blocking an electromagnetic wave radiated from the front of a display device, wherein the electromagnetic wave shielding film has superior transmissivity to visible light and a low haze value, and does not lower a display function of a display device. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the electromagnetic wave shielding film includes: a step of coating a metal foil surface with a resin solution of transparent resin (steps S1, S2); a resin layer forming step (step S3) of drying or curing the resin to form a first transparent resin layer on the metal foil surface; and a mesh forming step (step S4) of forming conductive meshes by partially removing the metal foil.
