PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal member capable of ensuring contact pressure against the hole periphery edge 41 of a penetration hole of at least one of a side member outer 4 and a wheel house outer, and preventing come-off from the penetration hole. SOLUTION: The seal member is provided with an outer retaining part 14 for retaining the hole peripheral edge 41; an inner retaining part for retaining the hole peripheral edge; and a connection part 15 for connecting the outer retaining part 14 and the inner retaining part. The outer retaining part 14 has an engagement groove 16 for engaging the hole peripheral edge 41; and a ring groove 17 formed in a ring-like shape in the circumferential direction of the outer retaining part 14 and inserting/attaching an elastic ring 2 having urging forces for enlarging a diameter in a diameter outer direction from an opening 17k in a diameter inner direction. A peripheral wall 16a is interposed between the ring groove 17 and the engagement groove 16. A wall surface 17a at the peripheral wall 16a side of the ring groove 17 has an abutment surface 17b abutted on the elastic ring 2.
