PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool easily replaced and capable of effectively and easily performing suction discharge treatment of chips. SOLUTION: The cutting tool is provided with: an approximately columnar tool part 10 having a cutting edge and rotated to perform treatment; and with a holder part 11 having a cylindrical shape in which a hollow part 11a having an inner peripheral part 11b fitted to an outer peripheral part 10b of the tool part 10 is formed, fixing the tool part 10, and fitted to a machine tool rotated to perform cutting work. An air gap part penetrated from a tip part 10a of the tool part 10 to the hollow part 11a of the holder part 11 is provided between the outer peripheral part 10b of the tool part 10 and the inner peripheral part 11b of the holder part 11.
