A method for preventing the degradation attack while terminal is moving is provided, including: the user equipment (UE) transmits the tracking area request message to the new mobile management entity (MME); receiving the safety ability supported by UE transmitted by MME; checking the consistency of the received safty ability supported by UE and the safty ability saved by itself. A system, MME and UE for preventing the degradation attack while terminal is moving are also provided. Using the invention, when UE and MME are negotiating the safety ability, the consistency of the received safty ability supported by UE and the safty ability saved by itself can be checked, and whether the degradation attack esists or not can be ascertained, thereby the degradation attack is prevented. |
