Class 64(2) A hot water bottle, formed by the welding together at their edges of two flat pieces of thermoplastic material, to produce a seam 10, has a neck 2 which is held in a rolled-up position, Fig. 3, to close the bottle, by a flap 7 engaging a buckle 6 with an adjustable bar 6<SP>1</SP>. To improve the seal, two tongues 8, Fig. 4, with free lower edges 11 and a highly-polished surface, are welded at the seam portions 10 of the neck 2 and at 9 on the rolled over edge 4 at the lip of the bottle but are open at the bottom 11. A carrying strap 12 extends from the edge 4 to the buckle anchorage.</p> |
