An auction system determining a bidder as median value between the highest price and lowest price of bid is provided to reduce a system load and prevent bid concentration around finish time by determining a bidder as median value between the highest price and lowest price of bid. A auction production database(12) stores two or more auction article information. A bidding database(13) stores the bid specification of the auction article. A bidding module(15) stores the bid specification of the auction article inputted from a terminal in the bid database. A middle value calculation module(16) calculates the median value of the bid price of the bid DB. If counted number of bidding applications is even number, a bid determining module bids bid number/2 number or bid number + 2/second bid. If counted number of bidding applications is odd number, the bid determining module bids bid number + 1/2 bid. |
