METHOD FOR PAGING GROUP MANAGEMENT

A method for a mobile terminal of an idle mode managing a paging group is provided to manage the paging group at changed user speed when changing the speed of a user in consideration with the user speed in an idle mode. A mobile terminal(110) collects paging group ID information including a paging group level and local ID(S403). According to the paging group ID information collected, the mobile terminal determines whether the location shift is generated(S409). In case the location shift is generated, the mobile terminal compares the location change period according to the time when the location shift is generated(S412). The paging group level is selected according to the comparison result. The mobile terminal selects the paging group corresponding to the paging group level selected(S416).
