A group SMS method and a system thereof are provided to enable a caller to individually confirm whether a plurality of short messages are normally transmitted to the other parties. A service management server(400) interworks with a group short message server(300) to process the subscription of the group SMS, registration and subscriber information management for a plurality of subscribers. A heterogeneous network integrated web server(500) interworks with a wired communication network and the group short message server. A subscriber connects to the group short message server through the communication terminal through the wired communication network. A plurality of groups, members of each group and group reception numbers are individually managed. A WAP server(600) and a WAP gateway(700) manage a plurality of groups.
