A chemical loading system for loading a molten chemical into a tanker includes a source S, L supplying a molten chemical and a tanker 11 for receiving the molten chemical. The chemical loading system has a stationary feed line 19 supplying a chemical from the source S, L. An extendable loader 23 has a feed passage that is in fluid communication with the feed line 19. The extendable loader 23 has a retracted position and an extended position relative to the feed line 19. The feed passage is adapted to have at least a portion thereof inside the tanker 11 when in the extendable loader 23 is in the extended position. A hoist assembly 25 selectively extends and retracts the extendable loader assembly between the retracted and extended positions. |
