MULTIMEDIA PROCESSING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF RETRIEVING MULTIMEDIA CONTENTS USING ICON TAG

A multimedia processing unit and a multimedia contents searching method using an icon tag for improving the convenience of a user when searching the multimedia contents are provided to search a multimedia contents file by using the registered icon tag. A user registers an icon tag in a multimedia contents as a tag(S210). A multimedia processing unit searches the registered icon tag selected by the user. The multimedia processing unit searches the multimedia contents corresponding to the selected icon(S220). Multimedia contents corresponding to the searched icon tag are indicated by the multimedia processing unit(S230).
