To provide an inorganic coating composition capable of forming a coating which has high transparency and is excellent in adhesion to a substrate and abrasion resistance and which provides excellent effects in hydrophilicity and further in antifogging properties, droplet flowability and antifouling properties derived from the hydrophilicity, over a long period of time; a hydrophilic coating; and an agricultural film. The inorganic coating composition comprises alumina particles, of which agglomerated particles in a dispersing medium have an average aspect ratio of from 3 to 20, and have an average particle size in the long axis direction of from 100 to 500 nm and an average particle size in the short axis direction of from 2 to 100 nm, silica-alumina composite particles, of which agglomerated particles in a dispersing medium have an average particle size of at most 150 nm, and water, and it has a solid content concentration of from 0.1 to 30 mass%. |
