A method for catching an animal 20, in particular horses, by providing a plurality of interconnectable barriers 12 each having a leg 2. The barriers are connected and brought into contact with a ground surface to define an area within which the animal is enclosed. Subsequently one or more of the legs is moved or removed to reduce the size of the enclosure until the animal is caught. Preferably the legs are connected one another by retractable string, rope or webbing. |
