<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly drain the water from drainage equipment of a building like a dwelling house, by a compact structure. <P>SOLUTION: In a drainage system to introduce the water from the drainage equipment inside the building to a drainage main pipe outside the building, a catch basin 21 comprises the main body, a plurality of up-stream side pipe connecting parts 24, 25, 26 extended laterally and radially from the main body, a down-stream side pipe connecting part 23 and an inspection port 27 extended upwardly from the main body 22. A branched drain pipe 8A coming from each drainage equipment in the building except the drainage equipments for a toilet and a kitchen is connected to each of the up-stream side pipe connecting parts 24, 25, 26. The branched drain pipe 8 communicating with the drainage main pipe outside the building is connected to the down-stream side pipe connecting part 23. A bore diameter of each of the up-stream side pipe connecting parts 24, 25, 26 is determined according to an amount of the water drained from the communicating drainage equipment inside the building. The bore diameter of the down-stream side pipe connecting part 23 is made to be the maximum by which the drain water from the drainage equipment is collected and drained smoothly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
