<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a communication method for realizing more effective use of a line in packet communication. <P>SOLUTION: In the communication method, a base station controller 13 divides a received packet into the length of a transmission unit on a radio line, sets the information regarding re-transmission control in headers of all the divided packets, a base station 12 generates a prescribed transfer frame from the received divided packets and transfers the transfer frame to a mobile station at a destination. Furthermore, the number of times of re-transmission of the transfer frame is determined on the basis of the information regarding re-transmission control set in the divided packets, and when the mobile station can not normally receive the specific transfer frame within the number of times of re-transmission, re-transmission of the transfer frame is interrupted and the divided packet corresponding to the transfer frame and all the following divided packets are discarded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
