A method and an apparatus for encoding and decoding object oriented audio signal generating voice image and object audio signal are provided to generate real sound by decoding or encoding audio signals at specific location. An object decoding unit(111) receives the additional information and object based down-mix signal from the object based an audio encoding apparatus. The object decoding unit restores object signals having the property that the object decoding is identical based on the object. A rendering unit(113) assigns each object signals to the location predetermining of the multi-channel space. The rendering unit reproduces levels in which object signals are determined from designated each location.
