PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION FOR TREATING CANCER COMPRISING SULINDAC AND SAHA AS EFFECTIVE COMPONENTS

Provided is a pharmaceutical composition including both SAHA and sulindac for targeting survivin of a radiation resistance factor in order to improve apoptosis and inhibition of cell proliferation. A pharmaceutical composition for curing cancer comprises SAHA(Suberoyl anilide hydroxamic acid) and 200-300muM of sulindac((Z)-5-fluoro-2-methyl-1-[P-(methylsulfinyl)benzylidene]indene-3-acetic acid) as active compositions. The pharmaceutical composition suppresses expression of a survivin gene. The cancer indicates lung cancer. The pharmaceutical composition is administered to a lung cancer patient to cure the lung cancer.
