<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely provide a locking function of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This locking device comprises a drive mechanism for driving a locking mechanism to change it to one of a locked state and an unlocked state, a control means for controlling the changing operation by the drive mechanism, and a determination means for determining whether a mobile terminal is present or not in a predetermined area corresponding to the position of the user when using a vehicle according to whether the communication thereof with the mobile terminal is active or not. When the determination means determines that the mobile terminal is changed from the state in which it is actively present in the predetermined area to the state in which it is not present, the control means so controls the changing operation by the drive mechanism as to change the locking mechanism from the unlocked state to the locked state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
