The method involves detecting, confirming and storing a failure in a storage memory (29) of a logic controller (21). The failure is dated before the storing operation and between detection and confirmation operations using an internal clock, where the internal clock is synchronized with an external clock. Indications suitable to context of the failure are determined and stored in the memory. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a logic controller. |
