An insert molding type ball-joint and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to design the diameter of a ball-stud flange part regardless of a neck supporting part by injecting a housing in a ball seat in which a ball-stud is combined with insert molding after uniting the ball seat having the neck supporting part with the ball-stud. A ball-stud(10) of metal material comprises a round head part(11), a neck part(12), and a flange part(13) and a screw part(14). A ball seat(300) of synthetic resin material comprises a round head supporting part and a neck supporting part. A housing(110) of synthetic resin material is injection-molded in order to surround a ball seat. The upper end of the housing is lower than the upper end of the neck supporting part. A stepped projection for separation protection is formed in the outer surface of the round head supporting part of the ball seat. The upper end (B) of the housing is low formed than the upper end (C) of the neck supporting part.
