A washing machine is provided to form a circuit with minimum signal input terminals and add new key buttons without adding separate input terminals or changing circuit configuration by controlling signals between a control unit and two key button sensing units in order to sense a plurality of key buttons through one input terminal. A washing machine comprises: a plurality of key buttons; a first sensing unit(10) sensing the operation of one key button among a plurality of key buttons; a second sensing unit(20) sensing the signal of the concocted key button among a plurality of key buttons; a control unit(30) performing operation according to the control command corresponding to the key button signal; a switching unit(40) controlling signals between the first and second sensing units and the control unit; and a display unit having a touch screen mode. |
