<p>A terminal for inputting Hangul alphabets by using a touch screen and a control method thereof are provided to enable a user to input desired Hangul alphabets by selecting a Hangeul grapheme displayed on the touch screen. A touch screen(160) classifies and displays characters including Hangeul graphemes. A contact sensing unit(150) senses whether an object comes in contact with the touch screen, and then transmits the coordinates of the contact position. A storage unit(120) stores information about the characters corresponding to each coordinate on the touch screen. If the contact of object is started on the touch screen based on a signal of the contact sensing unit, a controller(130) extracts the Hangeul graphemes corresponding to the coordinates on the touch screen from the storage unit.</p> |
