An inertial switch using micro droplet of liquid-metal and a method thereof are provided to generate the operation signal ascertained in the point of time for the work of the inertial force like the car collision time. An inertia switch(100) comprises a main body(110) having a flow path(120). The flow path includes the first space, the second space, and the drift space between the first space and the second space. The first and the second spaces are formed in order to accommodate the minute liquid metal droplet(140). The minute liquid metal droplet is located in the first space of the flow path in the manufacture process of the inertia switch. the minute liquid metal droplet flows into the drift space according to the inertial force. An electrode connection line(150) delivers the switch signal to the outside. A sealing member(160) is formed to cover the opening surface of the flow path.
