APPARATUS FOR RELAYING SIGNAL OF TELEPHONE

A telephone relaying apparatus for saving a telephone call charge connecting a general telephone on internet and PSTN network is provided to reduce a call charge due to performing free call through the internet by using the existing telephone. A telephone line interface(21) is connected to PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) network. An internet interface(11) is connected to internet. A telephone interface(31) is connected to a phone(1). The telephone interface is connected through the call connection part(40) through the telephone line interface or the internet interface. The packet conversion part(13) receives conversation data by being connected with the internet interface. The packet conversion part converts the received conversation data into the speech signal. The packet conversion part transmits the transformed speech signal to the call connection part. A packet generator(14) is connected to the telephone interface. The packet generator converts the speech signal inputted through phone into conversation data. A controller(50) is connected to the SKYPE DB system through internet. The controller determines whether the receiving side is subscribed to SKYPE. The controller controls the call connection of the telephone line interface of the call connection part or the internet interface.
