APPARATUS OF MANUFACTURING A CARBON BLUCK

An apparatus for manufacturing a carbon block is provided to prevent a surface of the carbon block from getting tough and control density and a size of the carbon block by extruding a mixture in a heated state using a hot wire screw. An apparatus for manufacturing a carbon block comprises the following units. A stirrer(10) is installed to stir raw materials for a carbon block in a vertical direction. A transferring unit(20) transfers a mixture while mixing the mixture transferred from the stirrer through a screw. A controller(30) located in an end of the transferring unit controls a temperature of the hot wire mounted inside the screw. An extruder(40) linked with the other end of the transferring unit extrudes the mixture to a carbon block.
