FLAME RETARDANT RESIN COMPOSITION HAVING GOOD IMPACT STRENGTH AND HIGH MELT FLOW INDEX

A flame retardant resin composition is provided to ensure excellent impact strength and fluidity while maintaining weather resistance and heat resistance by using octabromo diphenylethane as a flame retardant. A flame retardant resin composition comprises (A) a base resin 100.0 parts by weight consisting of an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer and a styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer resin, and (B) a brominated organic compound flame retardant 10-30 parts by weight. The brominated organic compound flame retardant(B) comprises octabromodiphenyl ethane indicated as the chemical formula 1. The octabromodiphenyl ethane has the average brome number of 7.5-8.5 per molecule.
